No Budget Films - Workshop Sessions

The Walk…Moving Forward conducted a Screenwriting Workshop by Director Khairy Beshara that took place at Al-Balad Theater between the 18th – 23rd of January 2007.

The workshop was a great success. Mr. Beshara expressed his fascination with young Jordanian talents. He even fell in love with Hanan Al-sheikh’s (one of the participants) script that he decided to direct it.

A contract between Arab Media (Mr. Alber Haddad) and No Budget Films ( Ghada Saba) and the great director Khairy Beshara was signed to produce this film in Jordan entitled “Faheta”. The film will be a low-budget film shot on HD and then turned into 35mm.

Also, as another outcome of the workshop. 10 scripts are now in development phase with NBF’s supervision. The 10 scriptwriters are to meet regularly to improve their talents and their scripts at NBF headquarters.
